Fraud Prevention
LinkEx and our courier partners work to protect customers from phishing, impersonation, and payment fraud. This page explains common risks and how we handle them.
1. What we never ask for
LinkEx will never ask you to send your full debit or credit card number, CVV, OTP, or password via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or social media chat. Official payment collection happens only through our secured website, app, or approved payment sheets (for example Apple Pay / card forms).
2. Impersonation of couriers
Fraudsters sometimes send messages pretending to be a courier partner or LinkEx — asking you to “confirm a delivery”, pay a fake customs fee, or share card details. Treat unexpected payment links with caution.
- Verify tracking numbers inside the LinkEx app or website, not only from an unsolicited message.
- Confirm sender domains and phone numbers against official LinkEx and partner channels.
- Reputable couriers do not ask for full card details via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
3. How LinkEx helps
We use account security controls, monitoring, and partner processes to reduce abuse. Suspicious activity may lead to holds, step-up verification, or account suspension under our Terms.
4. What you should do
- Use strong unique passwords and keep your phone number and email up to date
- Enable device security (passcode / biometrics) on the LinkEx app
- Do not share OTPs or wallet credentials with anyone
- Report suspected fraud immediately
5. How to report
Contact LinkEx support with the message content, sender details, and any tracking or order numbers: support@linkex.com. For card fraud, also notify your bank immediately. You may additionally report courier-branded scams through the relevant partner’s official published contact channels.
